The $10aDay Child Care Plan is one the quickest ways government can help BC families and their children move out of poverty. That’s why it is a central pillar of an effective BC Poverty Reduction Strategy.

On March 1, join anti-poverty activists and $10aDay supporters from across BC to learn about what you can do to help strengthen connections between these two powerful movements in your community.

The $10aDay Child Care Plan will make child care affordable for all – with no fees for families earning under $40,000 a year. This will move many families out of poverty and keep others from becoming poor. And the Plan will provide the women who care for children a living wage.

On the webinar, Sharon Gregson from the Coalition of Child Care Advocates, Trish Garner from the BC Poverty Reduction Coalition and others will share information about the $10aDay Plan, a BC Poverty Reduction Strategy and how we can work together to make them happen.
