The Canadian Federation of University Women of Victoria [CFUW] strives towards promoting equality of women and girls. We aim to improve the social, economical, political, and legal status of women.

CFUW supports the Coalition of Child Care of BC, and the $10aday public funded day care that would ensure affordable child care offered  by well educated care givers.

The $10aday care plan would facilitate women’s participation in society, sharing equal status in the workforce, and contributing to the economic growth in a meaningful way. Empowerment of women, by promoting education and adequate, affordable day care, allows women to fully participate at a political and economical level that benefits our society.
